Friday -- The well known character about town died Thanksgiving morning at the infirmary.  His name was Henry Copeland.  He was the old man with the goggles and wooden leg, who has sold matches about the town from time out of mind.  His favorite stand was a store box at Reed's corner.  He was nearly 80 years old.  He was taken to the infirmary a few weeks ago.  The funeral will be held Saturday from the residence on East Fourth Street.
